Connect Your Website

Follow these steps to connect WUDO to your website. No technical knowledge required — if you can copy and paste, you can do this.

Before you start, you need:

  • A WUDO account (sign up free)
  • A website where you want to display blog content
  • Access to your website's settings (WordPress admin, hosting dashboard, etc.)

Create Your Account & Add Your Website

  1. a.Go to wudoseo.com/login and sign in with Google
  2. b.You'll see a setup wizard. Enter your website address (e.g., myshop.com)
  3. c.Choose "Custom Website" as your integration method (or Shopify/WooCommerce if applicable)

Generate Your API Key

An API key is like a secret password that lets your website talk to WUDO. Only you will have this key.

  1. a.Give your key a name (e.g., "My Website" or "Company Blog") so you remember what it's for
  2. b.Click "Generate My API Key"
  3. c.You'll see your key — it looks something like this:

Your API key (example):

wudo_pk_a1b2c3d4e5f6g7h8i9j0k1l2m3n4o5p6q7r8s9t0

Save this key right now!

This key is only shown once. Click "Copy" and paste it somewhere safe (a note on your phone, a document, or directly into your website settings). If you lose it, you can create a new one, but the old one will stop working.

Add the Key to Your Website

Now paste your API key into your website. Where you paste it depends on what kind of website you have:

WordPress

1. Log in to your WordPress admin panel (yourwebsite.com/wp-admin)

2. Go to Settings

3. Look for "WUDO" or "API Settings"

4. Paste your API key in the field labeled "API Key" or "WUDO_API_KEY"

5. Click "Save"

Shopify

1. Log in to your Shopify admin

2. Go to Apps → Find WUDO

3. In the WUDO app settings, paste your API key

4. Click "Save"

Any Other Website

If you have a developer or can access your website's settings/config file:

1. Find where environment variables or API settings are configured

2. Add a new setting called WUDO_API_KEY

3. Set its value to your API key

You can also push your products to WUDO via the Products API and receive optimized SEO data back via webhooks.

Create Your First Blog Post

  1. a.Go to your WUDO Dashboard
  2. b.Click "Generate Blog" and enter a topic
  3. c.Wait for the AI to write your blog (you'll see the progress live)
  4. d.Review the blog, make any edits you want, then click "Publish"
  5. e.The blog will automatically appear on your website!

You're all set!

Every blog you publish in WUDO will now appear on your website automatically. Your visitors will see professionally written, SEO-optimized content that helps your website rank higher on Google.
